The fight against algae

Algae are micro-organisms that secrete organic substances that are the main food source of bacteria and fungii. There are thousands of species and a variety of shapes and appearances: green, brown, mustard, etc. They reproduce via spores that are carried in the air to the pool. Disinfectant in the pool prevents their growth for a time, but frequently the algae develop a resistance to the disinfectant used. Algae grow even faster when the weather is warm and stormy, when the bather load is high and the filtration run times are too short or the concentration of disinfectant inadequate. .

 Preventive treatment

Keep the pH between 7.2 and 7.4. Make sure that filtration is adequate and treat the pool with an aglaecide at regular intervals (Puraqua - Aquapur - Puratop)

AQUAPUR properties

• Algaecide with a slight foaming action, used to prevent the growth of algae and destroy them.

• Not affected by organic matter or hard water.

• Composition: Contains quaternary ammonium.

• Does not contain Copper.

• Does not react with metals.

AQUAPUR – Instructions for use

Initial treatment: Pour 2 to 3 litres of AQUAPUR around the pool for every 100 m3 of water. Weekly treatment: Add 0.5 l for every 100 m3 of water. The does should be doubled if the bather load is high or the weather is warm, especially if it is stormy
